The Last Five Years
The musical The Last Five Years comes to Jerusalem this Fall! Written by Jason Robert Brown, the story explores the five-year relationship between Jamie, a writer whose career is rapidly taking off, and Cathy, an actress struggling to break through.
Their love story is told simultaneously from the end to the beginning and from the beginning to the end, through Jason Robert Brown’s intimate and revealing songs. Each tells the story from their own point of view, giving us glimpses into individual moments from their shared experience.
Performed in English with a live accompanist. Run time 90 minutes.
